HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS: Each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made a bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours of their arrest. Judge Lewis follows the law; even when on a holiday he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for initial appearances.

has District-Criminal with 9 cases for Poss. Marijuana 2nd X 3, Attempt to Elude,
Reckless Endangerment, Use/Possess Drug Par, Dom Viol 3rd-Mischief, Dom Viol
3rd-Harassment.
HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL JUDGE M LOHM
STEENSLAND III: Has Circuit-Criminal with 182 cases ranging from Breaking/Enter
Vehicle, Possess/Receipt Cont, Theft of Property 2nd, Robbery 1st, Burglary 2nd
and Murder. He also has District-Cranial with 18 cases ranging from Retail Theft
1st, Burglary 3rd, and Possess/Receipt Cont.

Has Circuit-Criminal with 4 cases for DUI, Fail to Signal, Possess Marijuana 2nd X 2
