HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS: Each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours “of their arrest”. Judge Lewis follows the law even when on holiday he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for the initial appearances.

He also has Domestic Relations with 5 cases for Protection from Abuse. In District Civil he has 6 cases for Unlawful Detainer. In Small Claims he has 2cases for Misc SM Case.
HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE KEVIN MOULTON: Has District-Criminal with 9 cases for Sorna Violation X 2 Possess/Receipt Cont X 4, Rec Stolen Prop 3rd X 2 and Use/Possess Drug Par. He also has Circuit-Criminal with 86 cases ranging from Sorna Violation, Possess Marijuana 2nd, Promote Prison Contr, Retail Theft and Use/Possess Drug Par.
