Alabama State Defense Force Searching for Volunteers

The "Alabama State Defense Force" is a group of volunteer citizens who help our communities in multiple areas of disaster and damage assessment to search & rescue to supporting the Guard. We are the only legal States militia. We also support the EOC, POD, etc. We are searching for people who give selfless work to support our community needs, especially in the Tri-States area. We have meetings/drills and training sessions the 2nd. Saturday of each month at 8 a.m.. Right now we are assembling at the Dale Co. EMA in the basement. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 8 am. until 12 noon.  We encourage all who want more information or want to sign up to come by on that date or  call
