15 year old Carly Brooks has been diagnosed with Chiari (kee-are-ee) malformation and Syringomyelia (sear-in-go-my-eel-ya). It is a rare abnormality that only 1 out of 3,000 people get. Only 3% of the human race has been diagnosed with this abnormality. This involves the crebelum and the spinal cord. The surgery will include taking a cyst out of the spinal cord and removing some of the skull to round the crebelum back out. We don't know for sure when the surgery will be but we will keep everybody posted. Any prayers are greatly appreciated.
