Cowkids 4 Christ is really great. I have two children that i have taken to both events that Cowkids 4 Christ have had, they LOVE it. as a adult this is a very neat program and its all about your kids and Christ. Not many Rodeo's that you go to are all about the children and this one is. The people running this program are awesome and i take my hat off to them. Thank you Shay & Wendy for taking time out of your busy life to teach my kids about Christ and good sportsmanship. In today's world we find that we are very busy and the quality time with children just don't happen.Lets please pull together and support this great organization. I encourage you to "like" their facebook page, but more than that I encourage you to check out their ministry!! Kids accepting Christ early on is essential, better yet, it is scriptural. We are to bring our children up in the ways of the Lord!! Let's lend our support and help them out!! "Like" them, "Share" them, Spread the word!!!! The more people we can get involved with their children the better for this group of people trying to give kids some good honest fun.

The mission for Cowkids 4 Christ is to teach the children about Jesus while teaching them about different rodeo events. There are a lot of children who have wanted to be a cowboy or cowgirl, but they aren't able to own a horse, don't know where to start, or maybe they are scared to try. This is very much like our walk with Christ. Some people aren't able to worship freely, some don't know where to start, and some are scared to try a new way of life. In Cowkids 4 Christ, they don't have to know how to ride a horse and they can still be a cowboy or cowgirl, because of what is in their heart. The same way we all have the blessing of being Christians if we will just ask Jesus into our hearts
Rodeo events including, mutton bust-in', calf riding, Jr. bull riding, goat tying, dummy roping, sheep & calf scrambles. We will have events that use live animals, and also some events that do not use live animals. All roping and goat tying will be done from foot, not off of a horse.
