Discovery Room Open This Summer

(DOTHAN) Landmark Park is excited bring back the Discovery Room this summer, giving visitors an opportunity for hands-on exploration. Landmark Park will open the doors to the Interpretive Center Classroom each weekend and give families a chance to take a closer look at our natural history. The Discovery Room will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., and on Sundays from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Each weekend, the Discovery Room will feature a different aspect of science and nature. Topics include Reptiles on June 9-10; Genetics on June 16-17; Animal Signs on June 23-24; Insects on June 30-July 1; Birds on July 7-8; Native Americans on June 14-15; Ecology on June 21-22 and Trees and Plants on July 28-29. Reservations are not necessary and the Discovery Room is free with paid admission to the park. Sponsored by Wells Fargo.
