Justice Park in Dothan, Tuesday, October 25th @ 6:30 pmIn observance of Domestic Violence Awareness month the House of Ruth, along with the Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention and Verizon are hosting a candlelight vigil. Please join us at Justice Park (on the corner of Main Street and South Oates Street) on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30 pm to remember the victims who have been lost and to hear touching stories of survival. This is an incredible opportunity to show your support to victims of domestic violence. Our hope is to draw community awareness to domestic violence and help people feel more open about speaking out if they are a victim of this horrible crime. Let us join together to send the message that we are a compassionate community that embraces and empowers those in need. Please don’t miss this opportunity to stand together in unity to offer strength and support for all victims of domestic violence. I promise that you will leave this candlelight vigil forever touched by the stories of pain and triumph that you hear, because domestic violence truly impacts so many children, individuals, and communities.
