Dothan Tuesday Rotary Club Grants $19,300 To Area Non-Profits

On July 2nd, the Dothan Tuesday Rotary Club awarded $19,300 to Wiregrass area non-profits as a way of living the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.” The grants were awarded to the following organizations:• Alfred Saliba Family Services Center $5,200; Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention $5,000; • Lunches for Learning $3,000; Boys and Girls Club of the Wiregrass $1,850;• The Ark Dothan $1,500; Wiregrass United Way $500;• Southeast Health Foundation $500; Dothan Houston County Library $250;• Fostering Hope $250; Alzheimer’s Resource Center $250;• Wiregrass Hope Group $250; Love in Action Ministries $250;• Wiregrass Museum of Art $250; House of Ruth $250.Incoming Club President, Brad Kimbro, said, “This is my favorite Club meeting of the year. We are able to tangibly demonstrate our motto of “Service Above Self” as we fund the needs of our area non-profits which are truly serving the needs of many in our community."
