Graceville Police Department Officer almost hit head on, makes Crystal Meth Arrest

On Friday August 8th at approximately 830am Officer Phillipe Kirksey was on routine Patrol on Hwy 77 South in Graceville Florida . That is when the patrol vehicle he was driving was almost struck head on by a white SUV that swerved into his lane. Officer Kirksey turned around and was able to catch to and conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon further investigation of the driver, he was found to be in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine, and unprescribed methadone pills . The driver was Garris Adrian Braswell of Galaerneau Lane in Graceville Florida. He was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance and also driving with a suspended revoked drivers license. He was delivered to the Jackson County Jail.
