Have you ever watched Lifetime’s reality series “Bring it” featuring the beloved “Dancing Dolls”? If so you know that they are a group of young ladies that have redefined the word majorette.Meet Dothans Hip Hop Majorette team "The Prancing Peacocks". They are the first established group of its kind in this area.A traditional majorette is a young lady that marches with the band twirling a baton. At the Peacock Palace the Hip Hop Marjorettes use the Historically Black College and University st yle of dance as their guide.The wiregrass is excited to have this studio in the area. We are looking forward to the spring recitals and can’t wait to see these teams in battle.The Peacock Palace is located at 12158 US Hwy 231 Midland City, Al 36350.
