Mr. Kenneth Rex Holland of Dothan passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022.He was 64.Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM inChapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb and burial will follow at BurnsAssembly of God Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeralhome on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 AM.Mr. Holland was born on August 26, 1958 in Dothan, Alabama to Winsell (Red)and Mary Frances Hughes Holland.Kenneth or as most knew him, Coach Ken coached ba seball, football, andbasketball with Dothan Leisure Services and other youth sports organizationsfor over 45 years. He won multiple championships and Coach of the Year. Kenwas a die-hard Auburn and Indianapolis Colts fan and had an affinity for RicFlair. He was outgoing and never met a stranger. Other than sports, he lovedkaraoke and spending time with family.He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Frances Diane Holland,and grandson Caiden Nathaniel Bruner.Survivors include: the love of his life Carol Holland, daughter BrandyMcCall (Maxx), son Jeremy Bruner (Tisha), son Derek Bruner (Dawn), granddaughterSara Bruner, grandson Christian McCall (Dee), grandson Jakob McCall (Tarie),granddaughter Hannah McCall, grandson Aiden Bruner, great-granddaughter Addilyn Hutcherson, great-granddaughter Journey Royal-McCall , great-grandson Octavious McCall.Nephew and two great nephews and numerous uncles, cousins, friends, and best friends Randall Baxley and Steve Parker
