Landmark Park’s annual Low Country Boil will take place on September 19 at 6 p.m. in the Stokes Activity Barn. Shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes, along with the chef’s secret blend of spices, will be cooked in a 60 gallon kettle outside the Stokes Activity Barn. The meal is served out of wheelbarrows for a laid back feast. A silent auction, live music by Kyle Ogle and Forrest Williams, wagon rides and hot dogs for the kids will also be available at this annual fall fundraiser. Tickets are $50 per person, $5 for kids ages 3-12 and $500 for a reserved table of eight. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling 334-794-3452 or visit www.landmarkpark.com. Deadline to order tickets is September 13. Sponsored by William and Carroll Flowers, Steve and Angelia Stokes, Adams Beverage, Blue Plate Restaurant, Dade Paper, Dothan Printing & Litho, Morgan Stanley, Nantze Springs and U.S. Business Products and Wiregrass Seniors Magazine.
