On January 27, A Party for the Park and the Landmark Park Annual Membership Dinner will combine for one winter event. Chris Bradshaw, current owner of The Blue Plate restaurant and former co-owner of Dreamland Barbecue will roast whole hogs and cook ribs outside the Stokes Activity Barn.Take out orders of ribs may be picked up at Landmark Park or from either Blue Plate location on the day of the event. Landmark Park’s annual meeting will also be held during the event. The meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. During the annual meeting, winners of the Heritage Award and Volunteer Service Award will be announced. Dinner will be served at approximately 6:30 p.m.Sponsors include Adams Beverages, Dothan Printing and Litho, DSI Security Service, Infusion Services, Merrill Lynch, Nantze Springs, U.S. Business Products and The Blue Plate Restaurant. $30 per person. Cash bar. Take out racks of ribs, $20. Deadline to purchase tickets or takeout is Jan. 20. Call 334-794-3452.
