The 15 Quebec NCO Advanced Leadership Class from Fort Rucker will collect food for the Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank from 1 until 5 p.m. this Saturday, June 16, at the Ozark Walmart. Soldiers will distribute handouts explaining the food drive to customers as they enter the store with the hope that they will purchase a little extra food while grocery shopping and drop it into the Food Bank bins on their way out of the store. This is a community support project for this class and they are asking the citizens of Ozark and all of Dale County for their assistance in supporting this worthy cause. The Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank serves 22 active agencies in Dale County that have served 47,298 meals already this calendar year with the need for food assistance steadily rising. Please help the 15 Quebec Advanced Leadership Class feed the hungry by donating to their food drive.
