Supreme Sales & Marketing LLC, a food trading company based in Braselton, GA that specializes in proteins to include meat, poultry and fish products, recently launched a new food box program offering high value boxed groceries at a fraction of the price paid in traditional retail outlets. The program is designed for community organizations giving them a way to reach out to feed families in need and for those who simply are tired of paying the over inflated prices at their local retail grocery stores.
Supreme Outreach currently has 5 host sites in Alabama to include 3 in Phenix City ( Beaver Creek Baptist, Gaines Chapel and Feeding Phenix City), 1 in Eufaula (Eufaula Church of God) and 1 in Luverne (Faith Walk Ministries) with hopes to have a new host site in Dothan starting in May or June. The President of Supreme Sales & Marketing LLC Russell Maltbie says that “With today’s unstable economy and the skyrocketing cost of groceries, we wanted to find a way to help families afford quality, nutritious food. And by offering the program to local community groups, small businesses, civic organizations and not-for profits has the opportunity to expand their outreach while raising the necessary funds to continue their operations and social responsibility efforts. With our available resources, there is no reason that high quality food cannot be made accessible to everyone no matter what their income bracket may be.”
A new monthly menu is released on the 3rdweek of each month with distribution to host sites every 3rdSaturday of the month. The menu will always consist of fresh frozen meats and vegetables. All of boxes offered on the menu are under $40 and offer up to 65% savings.
Program Director Leigh Carroll says “Our program is for everyone at any income level, we accept all forms of payment including EBT’s. There are no restrictions. We feel the state of Alabama could truly benefit from this program and we are looking forward to the growth in your communities. This program not only makes food affordable and obtainable but it also gives financial donations back to the sites that support us.”
Pastors, Outreach Ministry Chairpersons, Food Pantry Ministry Chairpersons, local community groups, small businesses, civic organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and the general public are invited to visit their website at http://www.supremeoutreach.com/ to see the current menu for the month of April.
