From Southeast Alabama Community Theatre, the title speaks for itself: The Great American Trailer Park Musical! There’s a new tenant at Armadillo Acres — and she’s wreaking havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi comes between the Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband, storms begin to brew. This heartfelt, humorous look at trailer park life includes songs full of surprises, as the music slips across the dial of American radio from country to blues to rock to disco to bump and grind and R&B. Adult language and themes - this production may not be appropriate for all ages.
The Great American Trailer Park Musical is on stage Apr. 25-29, at the Cultural Arts Center. Doors open 60 minutes before curtain. Seating begins 30 minutes before curtain. Performances begin at 7:00 PM, and are approximately 2 hours including a 15 minute intermission. Cash bar available.
