Underage drinking is a pressing public health concern in our nation, but too many people accept it as a "rite of passage." Yet every day young people in Alabama die from or are effected by traffic crashes, violent crimes, alcohol poisoning-all due to underage drinking. So, what can we do about it? The Coalition for a Drug Free Dale County of SpectraCare Health Systems will host a Town Hall Forum on Underage Drinking on Thursday, April 26th from 6-8pm @ the Dale County Government Building (located at the intersection of Hwy 231 & Hwy 123). The forum will address the underage drinking problem specifically in Dale County and give community members the chance to develop a plan to prevent tragic outcomes of underage drinking among our youth. Light refreshments and nice door prizes will be provided. Everyone is encouraged to attend! For more information call (334)445-4554.
