Westside Terrace Healthcare, a long-term care facility in Dothan, has earned a deficiency-free survey. Each year skilled nursing facilities are surveyed and rated on core criteria including quality of care, safety, administration, food service, nursing care and patient rights. A deficiency-free survey in this thorough annual examination is one of the top indications of excellence. During 2016, only 9.2% of skilled nursing facilities in the state of Alabama received a deficiency-free survey.“Such an outstanding achievement is made possible only by the commitment and dedication of the exceptional staff of Westside Terrace Healthcare. We’re so pleased that our hard work has been reflected with such a prestigious honor,” said Kristie Hughes, Westside Terrace administrator. “It means that we are on the right track for providing our residents the best care in a compassionate environment.” www.WestsideCares.com
