On Saturday, March 16th, Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity will be raising the walls in Dothan with Covenant United Methodist Church for Ms. Mary Parsons at 403 Hill Street in the Cloverdale area.
Covenant United Methodist will work hand in hand with the Ms. Parsons, who will move out of her substandard living situation and into a home of her own. Before moving into her new home, Ms. Parsons will have devoted 500 hours of sweat equity to her home and other Habitat homes, as well as completed 50 hours of classes on financial management, home maintenance and home ownership.
The achievement of a Habitat home for Ms. Parsons would not be possible without the generosity of local businesses and groups. We would like to thank the following for working with us to make this dream possible for Ms. Parsons: Covenant United Methodist, First United Methodist Dothan, and Lowe’s.
