The Daleville Department of Public Safety announces the arrest of Antwan “Country Wayne” Young, 36, of Daleville, in connection with a first-degree robbery that occurred on April 14, 2025.
At approximately 9:21 PM on April 14th, officers responded to a reported armed robbery at a residence on Templeton Drive. According to the victim, a male suspect entered the home, brandished a handgun, and demanded cash. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money prior to officers’ arrival.
During the investigation and with assistance from community members, Investigators identified Antwan Young, also known as “Country Wayne,” as the suspect. He was apprehended without incident at 10:35 AM today, April 24, 2025, near Culpeper Park.
Mr. Young has been charged with Robbery in the First Degree, a Class A felony. He is currently being held at the Dale County Jail pending a bond hearing.
