
Dallas Wayne Thomley, 77, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis and heart disease.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with his son-in-law Andy Bush officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Dallas proudly served his country in Vietnam from 1968 to 1971. Following his military service, he began a long career with the telephone company, where he worked from 1971 until 2005. He later continued serving his community as a security guard at Jeffers Pet Supply from 2006 until 2023.
Dallas was a quiet, humble man with a big heart who believed in helping others and taking care of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His kindness, strength, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallis and Christine Thomley; his son, Dallas Lee; and his siblings, Grace Gilley and Jean Clark.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Doris Thomley; his children, Karen Bush (Andy), Lisa Pandori (David), Chris Thomley (Melissa), and Erin Sineath (Eric); grandchildren Keith Collins (Julia), Tiffany Pandori, Anthony Pandori, Addison Bush, Alex Bush, Ivy Sineath, Addy Sineath, and Milo Sineath; great-grandchildren Cassidy Collins and Levi Bush; sister; Judy Sorrells (Pat) and other extended family and friends.
Dallas leaves behind a legacy of love, service, humility, and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who were blessed to call him husband, Dad, Papa, and friend.
