Danne Florence (Nichols) Proctor

Danne Proctor, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Sunday, November 23,2025 at Extendicare Health and Rehab. She was 91.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Danne was born to the late Walter and Annie Perkins Nichols on September 30, 1934. After graduating from Malone High School in 1951, she began a career in Optometry, working many years for Dothan Optical before her retirement. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Danne will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memories are a son, John Proctor (Karen); two daughters, Carla Kirkland (Marc) and Becky Davis (Roger); six grandchildren, Colby Kirkland (Megan), Savannah Robertson (Jacob), Rebecca Mueller (Joseph), Josh Pipkin, Annie Pipkin, and Emily Pipkin; five great grandchildren, McKenzie Kirkland, Chloe Kirkland, Jaxon Bullock, Beau Grammont, Amelia Pipkin, Raeleigh Robertson, and Leighton Robertson.
