MIDLAND CITY. . . Danny Allen McKnight, a resident of Midland City, died early Tuesday morning, October 14, 2025, in a Dothan hospital. He was 67.
There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Danny McKnight was born in Phenix City, Alabama and lived in Newton and Midland City most of his adult lifetime. He retired in 2001 from the Alabama Department of Transportation as a mechanic. Danny was preceded in death by a son, Christopher McKnight, his father, James Webster McKnight and his mother, Lula Mae Hartzog Dease.
Surviving relatives include a son, Jonathan McKnight (Tiffany), Wausau, Wisconsin; two sisters, Patricia McKnight Windham, Midland City; and Donna Main, Daleville; a brother, Joey McKnight, Headland; five granddaughters.
