Napier Field…Danny Keith Mims, a resident of Napier Field died Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at his residence. He was 68.
In honoring Keith’s wishes, there will be no services planned. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations in charge of arrangements.
Keith was born in Dothan son of Ruby Ward Mims of Headland, and the late Cooper Mims. He was a 1976 Graduate of Dale County High School and played on the school basketball team. Keith was a lifelong resident of Napier Field and very involved in his community. He ran their heavy equipment machinery and served on the Volunteer Fire Department. Keith was of the Methodist Faith.
Survivors other than his mother are his daughter Michelle Mims Jenkins (Dean), grandson, Grant Jenkins all of Headland, his sister Starla Mims Bowling (Bruce) of Childersburg, a niece, Kaitlin Martin (Bobby) of Cullman and his nephew, Adam Bowling of Harpersville.
