DANNY MORRIS

DOTHAN… Danny Morris, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 56.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday June 06, 2026 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee Springs, Alabama.

Mr. Morris was born in Orlando, Florida, to Alicia Ann Dills Morris and the late Billy Ray Morris. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Army, carrying with him a strong sense of dedication and perseverance throughout his life. Following his military service, he spent many years working as a skilled HVAC technician, where he was known for his hard work, knowledge, and willingness to help others.

In his free time, Mr. Morris enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness. He was an avid pool player who loved both the competition and camaraderie of the game. He also had a deep appreciation for history and the outdoors, spending countless hours searching for and collecting arrowheads, a hobby he truly cherished.

Above all else, Mr. Morris dearly loved his children and treasured the time he spent with his family. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his many interests, and the love he shared with those closest to him.

Along with his dad, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Morris.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his mom, Alicia Ann Morris; his children, Isabella Morris, Austin Morris, Bradley Morris and Zayne Morris; his sister, Sheila Diane Thornton (Doug) of Ematalia, FL; his brothers, Shannon Ray Morris (Diana) of Ematalia, FL, and Christopher Law (Kimberly) of Ashford, AL; best friend, Mike Gilley; several other loving family members and friends.
