Deborah “Debbie” Westmoreland Jennings of Samson, Alabama passed away April 17, 2025.
A celebration of life service will be held at Piney Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00pm.
Debbie was born November 23, 1954, in Tryon, North Carolina to the late Ray and Margaret Westmoreland. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Debbie found joy in every situation and saw the good in everyone she met, never once finding fault, only grace.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Phillip Dewayne Jennings, one daughter Tonya Jennings, and a brother Junior Westmoreland.
Debbie is survived by three sons, Joe Jennings (Pam), Jeff Jennings and Jason Jennings; seven grandchildren, Kassidy Hester, Karlee Hester, Nate Jennings, Ty Jennings (Bayley), Magen Jennings, Kaden Owens and Sunny Jennings; three great-grandchildren, Rhett Jennings, Warren Messer and Winston Hollobaugh; and a younger brother, Thomas “Tommy” Westmoreland (Jody).
