According to all indications, looks like we we are in for a very GOOD market ahead !! Folks, the numbers are just not there and very few producers are retaining heifers.
Slaughter classes steady to very firm. Replacement bred cows steady to firm and pairs steady . Calves and feeder cattle 5 to 10 lower , I think a summer adjustment but NO PROBLEM !! Out look is very positive. Fed cattle in the West 233 to 240 on a very light trade with Iowa auctions to 247 !!
