A singer/songwriter competition is coming to the Dothan Opera House in July.
Presented by Mitchell Automotive and sponsored by Visit Dothan and Tixr, The Circle Sessions offer a chance for singer/songwriters everywhere to make their mark.

The Circle Sessions is not just for local artists—this competition is open to singer-songwriters from anywhere who are ready to make their mark. Whether you’re from a small town or a big city, if you have original music and a story to tell, this stage is for you.
Only six talented applicants will advance to the final competition, where they will compete for career-changing prizes. The grand prize winner will receive $3,000 in prize money, one year of social media coaching, exclusive one-on-one time with an industry professional, and a headlining performance at the Porter Park Amphitheater. The second-place winner will be awarded $2,000 in prize money, six months of social media coaching, one-on-one time with an industry professional, and an opening slot for the Porter Park Amphitheater show.
As a special welcome to Dothan, all contestants will receive an exclusive welcome bag from Visit Dothan, which includes hotel accommodations, a gas card, gift cards to some of
Dothan’s best restaurants, and more.
The competition is open exclusively to solo artists and duos, with a maximum of two performers allowed on stage.
