We live in a generally laid back community. Folks just get along and go along for the most part. Now and again though, someone just has to get over the line. I believe that this is case with a Real Estate Development company in the picture. They have approrox. 20 signs posted on highway 203 from near Southgate road on out through Rehobeth to one of their developments, Southern Hills subdivision. No one minds the occasional yard sale sign, but this seems just way out of line for a corporation to pollute the public right of way with these signs. It is my understanding that this is not allowed by county ordnanace to advertise on county right of way, or utility poles. If this is the case, then the laws of Houston County are not being enforced by the persons who are paid, or elected, to do so. As many of our elected officials travel down these roads, you'd think they would pick up the phone and have them removed. I wouldn't do business with folks who will not abide by the rules.
