Rickey make your mind up. You post a large drug bust from Abbeville with a large amount of Meth. Then you post over 200 spring breakers arrested in a 3 day period. Then you bust law enforcements chops because they are not stopping the burglaries. You know law enforcement officers are responcible for the safety of the public. Guess what when somone travels through that agencies jurisdiction they are the public. What if that officer did not get that meth off the streets? How many could have died from that poison? I'm sure all the calls were answered in that jurisdiction. I cannot imagine an officer not going to a call just top make a traffic stop. So tally this number up! How many lives are saved when officers make a traffic stop and get illegal narcotics, guns, or alcohol from people? It's still illegal, so just what do you want them to do!! Let it ride by or do their job. If it's so easy to catch a burglary or robbery before it happens why haven't you did it your out there to!

So you're going to come onto HIS web site and they and dictate what he needs to post about. Boy do you have some nerve. Last time I checked this was a web site owned and operated by Rickey Stokes personally. So either way your argument is moot. While I will agree that RSN is biased on some stories most media outlets are. Just look at WTVY, they are so biased it oozes. As for your admonishing Rickey for covering the Spring Breakers getting arrested I'm glad to see someone covering it cause God knows you won'tsee it on any other media outlet. RSN covers the stories that the other local media refuse to and I applaud RSN for that. Here is a novel idea if you don't agree or liked what RSN reports or posts then simply stop typing the web address intro your browser. See how easy that is.

It appears some of you are finally figuring out "Rickey Stokes News" is NOT a journalistic news organization, it is a BLOG where he & his staff tries to post news events as they occur, unfortunately they have to retract and back up on just about 95% of their stories in some fashion. They don't get the facts first like a real news organization, they post a story just so they can get it out there quickly & then later UPDATE it with the correct information. Such as WRECK WITH A FATILITY, oops, sorry just a fender-bender. As for his personal postings they're are always slanted to the facts & circumstances as he sees them in his mind & not as they really are, particularly if it's about something he doesn't like. Case in point Country Crossing, he beat that dead horse over a year after it died.

Thank you! I'm glad to see someone standing up to Rickey Stokes. That probably means your editorial won't be up for long, though. I posted a less than flattering warning to area renters about one of his colleagues scamming me and my family last year, and that post stayed up for only a couple days. By the way, I have on good authority that local law enforcement doesn't think very favorably of Mr. Stokes either...no surprise there!

Im with Rickey on a lot of things and then some things not. Logically, rather than trying to find out WHO committed a burglary, I think it is wise to knock a dent in the drug problems in ANY way possible. After all, I believe most burglaries are li nked to drug use or needing to steal to buy more drugs??? Im sure Florida profiles other states too, I have not seen a state from Wisconsin to Florida that did'nt. Besides, dont screw up. Don't, weave or forget your bl inker when changing lanes or do anything that gives a cop a reason or right to pull you over. I really wish the law would pull more people over than they do for riding in the wrong lane. Especially tags from Georgia. But they should do this year around. Not just spring break and not just on 431 or 231. Get the backroads too.
