Feb 19 I posted an article stating my income was $27,700 and I spent $38,300. The extra money came from putting $12,600 on credit cards. I asked for help from the 400 plus people that read it. I bet most people thought we were crazy for overspending like we did, but no body said anything. NOW FOR THE REAL STORY. It is not me that made $27,700, it is the US Treasury that took in $27.7 Trillion dollars. It was not me spending $38,300 in 2011, it was the U. S. Congress that spent $38.3 Trillion dollars. It was not me that borrowed $12,600 to fund my life st yle, it was the U.S. Gov that borrowed $12.6 Trillon, mostly from China. THE LAST 3 YRS CONGRESS HAS GONE CRAZY SPENDING. YET, THERE ARE NO REPONSES TO THIS SPENDING, EVERYONE WANTS THEIR "SHARE" OF GOV SPENDING. NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING TO THEIR REPRESENTATIVE AND VOTES FOR THE PERSON THAT PROMISES MORE SPENDING. Let your Congressman know spending needs to be cut now! Collapse is not decades away, but only a few years.

THANKS FOR THE POSTS to the first article. I WAS TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO SEE JUST HOW SERIOUS OF A SITUATION WE ARE IN. People realize the danger and problem when we are talking about one person who is over spending, but they just do not see the danger when we are talking about the country. I have talked with people that say financial collapse will never happen. They think that all you have to do is tax the rich and let them pay their fair share. Well if 10% of the people in this country pay 70% of the bills, what is the fair share of the 50% plus people that pay no income taxes but receive billions of dollars in benefits? I am not saying cut out all the programs, but many need to be cut back. I know it will hurt, I know it is unpopular, but cuts (difficult cuts) need to be made now. Stitch - Feb 22 2012 12: AM 22:47

Why are the comments not being posted when they have been written? Who is moderating the comments section of the editorials? This is the third attempt to comment and nothing has been said that would not be postable? Two for this article and one for the previousone? FDC - Feb 21 2012 12: AM 08:34
