Eloise Hall Glover, age 94, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 5, 1932, in Bellwood, Alabama (Geneva County), she was the beloved daughter of Charles Morgan Hall and Josephine Boyett Hall.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Tim Willis officating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Eloise attended school in Bellwood, where she was educated in a three-room schoolhouse before continuing her education at Riley Business School in Dothan. She began her career working for a local loan company before embracing the role that would become one of her greatest callings.

She met the love of her life, Foy Percival Glover, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised three sons, who were the pride and joy of her life. After raising her family, Eloise opened the first commercial daycare center in Dothan, where she lovingly cared for more than 100 children each day. Her nurturing spirit and dedication left a lasting impact on countless families throughout the community.

A woman of many talents and interests, Eloise had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the piano at local churches. She was an active member of the Pilot Club of Dothan and found great joy in supporting her son Terrell’s big band, The Dothan Moonlighters. She also loved to fish, especially at the family pond, tend to her flower gardens, and spend quiet moments watching birds.

Above all else, Eloise cherished her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her greatest love, however, was her faith in Jesus Christ. She never missed an opportunity to share her faith with others and was a devoted member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended the Senior Adult Sunday School class.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Morgan Hall and Josephine Boyett Hall; her beloved husband, Foy Percival Glover; her son, Foy Steven Glover; and her siblings, Edna Kelly, Dan Hall, and Ruth Reagan.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Terrell Glover and Joseph Bruce Glover; her grandchildren, Morgan Glover Ingle (Justin), Weston Glover (Gracie), Josh Parrish, Natalie Glover, and Helen Glover; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Ava Glover, Greenley Ingle, Parker Capra, Gideon Glover, Cohen Glover, and Birdie Pickron. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Eloise’s life was defined by unwavering faith, selfless service, and unconditional love. Whether caring for children, cooking lavish meals, traveling the country, encouraging her family, serving her church, or sharing the hope she found in Christ, she lived each day with kindness and purpose. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and devotion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude in honor of Eloise.
