Evelyn Yvonne Westmoreland Crisp of Samson, AL passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026. She was 89 years old.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Samson First Baptist Church with Rev. D J Sims and Rev. Travis Free officiating. Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva will be directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Yvonne was born on October 7, 1936, to late Rodney Oscar and Ruth Ratliff Grover in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Yvonne was a dedicated member at Samson First Baptist Church, where she found joy in attending the Sunday School class. In her downtime, she loved spending quality time with her beloved cat.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her sons, William Donald Westmoreland, and her second husband, Paul Howard Crisp.
Yvonne is survived by her three children, Kenny Westmoreland (Joni) of Samson, AL, Marc Westmoreland (Joy) of Paisley, FL, and Darryl Westmoreland of Groveland, FL; her six grandchildren; and her ten great-grandchildren.
