Fletcher “Marshall” Moore, Jr,  (February 20, 1959-March 12, 2025) passed away peacefully at the age of 66 in Anniston, AL. He was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to late Fletcher Marshall Moore, Sr. and the late Martha Beasley Moore of Dothan, Alabama.

Marshall is predeceased in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents Marshall Earl Moore and Charlie Bernice Moore and maternal grandparents Hobson Dewey Beasley and Vera Crawford Beasley.

He is survived by his son, Fletcher Marshall Moore, III (Marbela), his sister, Marla Moore King (Robert), his niece, Erinn King (Jay Smith), his nephew Michael Brendan King, Aunts, and Uncles, many cousins and his loyal dog, Buster.

He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew and friend to all. His son, Fletcher, was the apple of his eye. Marshall was a graduate of Dothan High School Class of 1977 and attended the University of Alabama and loyally followed Crimson Tide sports. He was particularly gifted in computer science and electronics, a wonderful bass fisherman and a history enthusiast.  He could repair just about anything he put his mind to. He loved to play checkers, dominoes and video games. Marshall did many things professionally, but his most prideful occupation was working with The Salvation Army as a Counselor and helping others. His passing leaves a void that will be felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him.  His family is comforted by the knowledge he is at home and at peace with his Lord.

Marshall will be buried with the Moore family.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th at 11:00 at Dothan City Cemetery.
