“For the past seven years, it has been my great honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Geneva County as your Coroner. During this time, I have worked diligently to serve our community with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.
I am proud of the many accomplishments achieved during my first two terms. For the first time in county history, an official office for the Geneva County Coroner was established in the courthouse — fully equipped with a state-of-the-art, 12-body morgue. Throughout the death investigation process, the strong partnership between the Coroner’s Office and our city, county, and state law enforcement agencies, along with the District Attorney’s Office, has been vital to our continued success. Working closely with these agencies, I have also had the opportunity to provide expert testimony in court, contributing to the prosecution and conviction in multiple homicide cases.
I am also sincerely grateful for the continued support I have received from our county’s funeral directors. Death investigation requires ongoing training, as mandated by Alabama law, and I am thankful for the practical instruction and certification I receive each year through the Alabama Coroner’s Association (ACA). I am honored to serve as an active member of the ACA.
After careful thought, consultation with family and friends, prayerful consideration, and a heartfelt desire to continue the work I began seven years ago, I am pleased to announce that I will be seeking reelection as Geneva County Coroner in the upcoming Republican Primary on May 19, 2026.
I once again seek this office out of a deep commitment and strong devotion to serving our community. During my enlistment in the United States Air Force, I learned vital core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do. I have strived to live by these principles in both my private and professional life.
We are all called to serve, and I have found no greater calling than serving the families of Geneva County. I am deeply grateful for the trust and support you have placed in me over the years, and I remain committed to continuing to serve the people of this county with the same dedication and respect that this office deserves.
