DOTHAN. . .Geraldine Howard Mallory, a resident of Dothan, passed away early Wednesday evening, December 24, 2025, in a Dothan hospital. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 28, 2025, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend George Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Ewell Bible Baptist Church Cemetery, located in the Ewell community, near Ozark. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland.

Mrs. Mallory was born in Perry, Georgia, daughter of the late Leroy Howard and Ella Bea Rogers Howard. She was raised in Dale County, Alabama and formerly lived in Midland City and Newton before moving to Dothan in 2010. She was retired from TRW Globe Motors as a Machinist. Mrs. Mallory was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lavern Mallory, a son-in-law, Phillip John Denton, sisters, Hazel Creamer, Sue Ann Cain, Mary Evelyn Aliado, and Sara Elizabeth Howard, a brother, Paul Leroy Howard and several siblings from the Howard family.
Surviving relatives include her daughters, Latressa Mallory Denton, Dothan; and Gwen Mallory Chandler (Scott), Cowarts, AL; a son, Robert Derek Mallory (Bonzi), Dothan; grandchildren, Josh Cook, Brook Ott, Dustin Cook, Jared Chandler, Jordan Mallory (Amber), Austin Mallory (Jamie) and Eric Smith; great-grandchildren, Levin Cook, Cheyenne Beasly, Rhett Mallory, Haystin Mallory, Jameson Mallory, Derek Ray Mallory, Easton Mallory, Derek Xavier Chandler and Rhyleigh Wright; several nieces and nephews including a beloved niece, Glenda Walker, and a very special friend, Judy Yeomans.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Josh Cook, Dustin Cook, Levin Cook, Jordan Mallory, Austin Mallory, Jared Chandler, Scott Chandler and Wade Stinson.
