
Mrs. Glenda Faye Greathouse Weeks of Coffee Springs, AL went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2026. She was 84.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glenn Churchwell officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
Glenda Faye was born July 25, 1941, in Houston Co., AL to the late Jimmy Glenn Greathouse and Leona Tindel Greathouse Caudill. She retired from ConAgra/Pilgrim Pride Poultry Company in Enterprise, AL after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved and cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and was a phenomenal southern cook, who also loved to bake. Her love for family, friends, church, community and strangers will forever be remembered as one of many legacies she leaves behind.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bobby Ray Weeks; four siblings, Anna Laura, Ellen Dean, Billy Caudill and Ruth Johnson and her daughter-in-love, Regina L. Weeks.
Glenda Faye is survived by five children, Donnie Weeks (Barbara) of Bellwood, AL, Delone Weeks of Slocomb, AL, Twona Miller (Roger) of Hartford, AL, Jimmy Weeks (Sharon) of Coffee Springs, AL and Tanga Rivera (Thomas) of Opp, AL; grandchildren, Kim Hendrix (Chris), Vicky Charlebois (Michael), Julie Presley (Dalton), Heather Jackson (Trent), Delina Kelley (Stacey), Justina Weeks (Marquez), Jacob Weeks, Nita Conner (Terry), Jeremy Miller (Natalie), Jamie Spicer (Josh), Jimmy Jr. Weeks, Shelley Weeks, Brittany Saunders (Jonny), Kristin LeMay (Rett) and Justin Rivera (Chelsey); 32 great grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Ann Donaldson (Byron) of Samson, AL and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Wiregrass Nursing Home and staff and three special caregivers of their mother, Janett McNeil, Phyllis Smith and Dora Martinestz.
