
Glenda Taylor Ragan, a resident of Dothan, AL went to be with the Lord on Feb 15, 2026. She was 87 years old. Glenda was a member of Cloverdale United Methodist Church since 1994, Lafayette St. United Methodist Church before that. She and her family moved to 504 Church St. Dothan, AL and homesteaded (1970s). She worked with Alfa Insurance for 22 ½ years and felt her co-workers were her extended family. After retiring from the Insurance Co., she worked at Ray’s Restaurant.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Cloverdale Methodist with Dr. Ernie Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Ragan; daughter, Debra Ragan Heffner; brother, Morgan Lee Taylor, Jr.; her dad, Morgan Lee Taylor, Sr.; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law; John and Teresa Ragan, and in 2017 her mother, Ollie Taylor (she was 102 ½ years young).
Surviving is her son, Johnny H. Ragan (Allison); son-in-law Robert P. Heffner, Jr. (Paige); Brother-in-law, James E. Ragan (Betty Anne); nieces, Pamela Gottlieb (Jack), Dianna Worsham (Kelly), nephews, Morgan Lee Taylor III (Mitzy), Patrick Ragan; Grandchildren, Jacob P. Heffner (Lauren), Justin M. Ragan, Heidi L. Linsell (Josh), Jordan T. Ragan (Jordan), and great-grandchildren, Leila Mae Ragan, Davis Taylor Ragan and Jack William Heffner.
To several of my special friends, Judy McClain and family, Ruby, Cooper Mims and family, Deanna and George Tatom and family, all of the Sizemore family, and to ALL my family and Friends It’s not Goodbye, it’s I hope to see you again someday.
We want to tell our church membership how much we appreciate all you have done for our family over the years. It may be a smaller church, but the hearts are extra-large.
