UPDATE:
Law enforcement have arrested Grooms for an alleged assault.
He was charged with one count of assault and two counts of criminal mischief.
Grooms was trying to enter Fort Novosel at the Daleville gate when security recognized him from a BOLO issued Wednesday morning.
Grooms was not armed at the time of his arrest.
HPD says Grooms attacked a family member with a metal pipe and destroyed a neighbor’s property.
Grooms was taken to the Geneva County Jail.
