Hubert Allen Dansby, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was 73 years old.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glover Funeral Home in Eufaula, Alabama with Rev. Shane Traylor officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing.
Allen was born April 23, 1951, in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Seaby Dansby and Eunice Inez Bowden Dansby. He worked for Carbo Ceramics for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and dirt road riding.
He is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Morris Dansby, Bobby Earl Dansby, Eugene Dansby, William Noah Dansby, Tony Dansby, Billy Bowden, and Bobby Bowden; sister, Ruby Hatfield.
Survivors include his two sisters, Mary Dansby Hawkins of Eufaula, Alabama and Edna Dansby Jernigan (James Dean) of Newton, Alabama; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his loving dog, Cricket.
