The Eufaula PD and BCSO is currently investigating the discovery of human remains located near White Oak Church road.
Officers responded to the area after receiving information regarding the discovery. Upon arrival, investigators secured the scene and began processing the location. The identity of the individual has not yet been confirmed pending further examination.
At this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing. Additional details will be released as they become available and when appropriate to maintain the integrity of the investigation.

According to sources the body of the missing individual was found shot, dismembered, burned and strowed across a field.
