James Allen Rogers

James Allen Rodgers, 63, a resident of Geneva, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Southeast Health following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Frith Hill Community Church with Reverend Billy Gene Dickerson officiating and Glover Funeral Home & Crematory of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.

Flowers will be accepted.

James was born April 22, 1963, in Orange County, Florida to James Hollis & Sophia Dufene (Lewis) Rodgers. In his early years he attended school in Florida and Alabama. James worked in the construction industry for some time, before working as a truck driver. When not working, he enjoyed gardening and grilling. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded by his father; a granddaughter; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Sophia Rodgers; his wife, Angela Chavers; his children, Seth Rodgers, Michael Rodgers, and Ashley High; his brother, Bryan Rodgers; his sister, Vickie Rodgers; his two step-children, Laralei Howell and Erwinna Goins; and several grandchildren.
