James Bryant Wisdom, a resident of Louisville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was 54 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the Clio Baptist Church in Clio, Alabama, with Rev. Rick Campbell officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Graveside services with military honors will follow in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Clio, Alabama. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted.

Bryant was born on June 17, 1971, in Llano, Texas, to Donald Ray Wisdom and Theresa Ratliff Pankey. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he proudly served as a Specialist. He enjoyed Texas A&M football, the Dallas Cowboys, Nascar, and hunting. But most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Wisdom; brother, Pokey Wisdom; and mother-in-law, Debbie Campbell.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife of 31 years, Tina Campbell Wisdom; two sons, Jr Wisdom (Hannah) of Mobile, Alabama, and Colton “Pnut” Wisdom of Louisville, Alabama; daughter, Jasmine Wisdom of Louisville, Alabama; mother, Theresa Pankey (Charlie Brown) of Hearne, Texas; brother, Robbie Wisdom (Barbie) of College Station, Texas; father-in-law, Charles Campbell; mother-in-law, Sheila Armstrong; five great nieces and nephews, River, Delilah, Oakie Poke, Bennett, and Blakely.

Asked to serve as pallbearers are Cody Campbell, Jacob Baker, Scott Campbell, Dwayne Riley, Rip Robinson, and Jeremy Till.
