James David Nall, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama died Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in Dothan, Alabama. He was 66.
Memorial services for James will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 10, 2026 in Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Seale officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
James was born April 11, 1959 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Charles and Doris Schumacher Nall. He moved to Dothan at an early age and was a 1978 graduate of Dothan High School. Following graduation, he went to work at Farley Nuclear Plant where he was a CAPS Facilitator. James was an extraordinary man who had many interests but enjoyed softball, golf and even ballet. He moved to the lake in 2019 where he enjoyed the rest of his life.
Survivors include his children, Jonathan Nall (Debbie), Beth Donaldson (Bryce) and Carol Long; grandchildren, Shelby Turner, Elijah Turner, Selah Turner, Jackson Griffin, Ben Long, Asher Long and Elijah Long; siblings, Steve Nall, Tim Nall (Melinda), Mark Nall (Marianne), Matt Nall (Ramona), Ken Nall (Nancy) and Diane York (Dan).
