Mr. James Edward Grubbs of Pansey, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the age of 82.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Union Springs Free Will Baptist Church , Pansey, Alabama with Reverend John Taylor and Reverend Raymond Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, October 10, 2026, one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Grubbs was born June 30, 1944, in Ashford, Alabama, the son of the late Louis and Pauline Cosby Grubbs. He was a member of Union Springs Free Will Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great – grandfather, and great-great- grandfather. He was proud of his grandchildren. He loved woodworking and never met a stranger.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Grubbs.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Frances Grubbs, sons, Robert Grubbs, Tommy Staton, daughter, Tammy Larimore, brother, Eddie Grubbs, sister, Faylene Turner, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
