James Robert Davis, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Panama City, Florida. He was 73 years old.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula with Rev. Stephen Doss officiating. The burial will follow in the Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Clio with Glover Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.
Robert was born on January 22, 1953, in Eufaula, Alabama, to the late Roy Talmadge and Barbara Gearldine (Searcy) Davis. Robert retired from Golden Flake with 43 years of service. He enjoyed going on cruises, watching westerns, old cars, and drinking coffee with his friends at the corner store. Most of all, Robert loved his grandchildren more than anything. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Bobbie Irene (Faulk) Davis.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Bryan Scott Davis, two grandchildren, Gavin Christian Davis and Emily Nicole Davis; brother, Roy “RT” Davis, sister, Rita Loe; two nieces, Becky Walraven and Susan Mims.
Asked to serve as pallbearers are Tim Marsh, Michael White, Jimmy Stuckey, David Wilson, Aurthur “Popps” Lasseter, and Nathan Whitehead.
