JAMES RUSSELL HARDEMAN
BLAKELY, GA… James Russell Hardeman, a resident of Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely, Georgia, passed away Sunday morning, November 23, 2025, at a Dothan Hospital. He was 75.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at White Oak United Methodist Church in Eufaula, with Reverend Ron Jernigan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Hardeman was born in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to the late Charles James Hardeman and Josephine Spence Hardeman. He served his country in the U.S. National Guard. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked with Circle Pest Control for several years.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Lehr Hardeman and his sister, Vivian Hardeman.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Paula Hardeman James (Robert); his son, Matt Hardeman; and his grandchildren, Brianna James, Fayth James, Annabella Pittman, Christopher Sanborn, Jr., and Scarlett James.
