JAMES THOMAS   went home to be with the Lord December 22, 2025 at 6:25 AM.

James grew up in the Fadette Community. He was a graduate of Slocomb High School. He was a man of few words, honest and kind kind.

James developed a love for Border Collies in his teenage years. After his retirement from Sony he trained and bred Border Collies as working stock dogs. James took his Border Collies to rodeos, churches, special events, National Peanut Festival, anywhere that he could share his love for Jesus, his Savior.

James was a member of Mount Calvary Church. He loves his Church family.

James is survived by his wife of 29 years, Louise, the love of his life and other close family members. He was loved by all and will be missed by all.

This is not the final goodbye, just a “see you in the by and by” in the presence of our Lord.

In honor of his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no memorial service. Cremation handled by Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.
