TUMBLETON  COMMUNITY. . .Janice Isler “Jan” Floyd, a resident of the Tumbleton Community of Henry County, passed away Monday morning, March 9, 2026, in a Dothan hospital. She was 75.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Joe Patterson and Brother Jerry Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Balkum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Holman Mortuary.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to City of Headland Animal Rescue Mission (C.H.A.R.M.) P.O. Box 216, Headland, AL 36345

Jan Floyd was a native of Miami and was raised in Miami and Homestead, Florida, daughter of the late James Albert Isler and Grace Elizabeth Monk Isler. She lived in Dothan before moving to Henry County thirty-six years ago. Jan and her family attended Pentecostal of Dothan. She and her husband formerly owned and operated Floyd Grocery in Tumbleton. Jan loved fishing and especially her family.

Jan was preceded in death by her sisters, Faye Isler, Eva Williams and Rita Cureton, and brothers, Allen Isler, Dwight Monk, Eugene Isler, Glen Isler, and her loving fur babies, “Doodles and “Oreo”.

Surviving relatives include her husband, William Stanley Floyd, daughters, Janie Crody (Ronnie), Tracy Brunson (Rick) and Melinda Floyd; sons, Dwayne Parker (Cheryl), Rodney Parker (Kelly), Joey Floyd (Tammi) and Jason Jacobs (Kristy); sisters, Sandra Isler, Nora Forrest (Danny) and Karen Mills (Jerry); a brother, Paul Isler; brothers-in-law, John Cureton and Robert Williams; grandchildren, Tiffany Crody (Mitch), Paige Benefield (Rigo), Kaitlynn Gatewood (Chandler), Trevor Floyd, Mason Floyd, Ashlee Scott (Thomas), Matt Smith, Zane Floyd, Timothy Jacobs (Abigail), Rebecca Jacobs (Austin) and Brent Jacobs (Maddie); great-grandchildren, Devin, Braylyn, Alice, Serenity, Gavin, Bentley, Lynnox, Sebastian and Declan; numerous nieces and nephews; her special canine friend, “Bama Floyd”.

Serving as active pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
