JENNIE TURNER TRAYWICK
EDWIN…. Jennie Turner Traywick, a resident of Edwin, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 02, 2026, at the home of her daughter in Kinsey, Alabama. She was 90.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 05, 2026, at Edwin Community Cemetery with Reverend Larry Sowell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edwin Community Cemetery, c/o Celeste Spivey, 6261 CR-54 West, Clopton, Alabama 36317.
Ms. Jennie was born in Barbour County, Alabama to the late John Evans and Dawn Childree Evans. She worked in quality control at West Point Pepperell for many years. She was a member of New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church in Clopton, Alabama.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph S. Turner and Joseph Wesley Traywick; her son, Johnny R Turner and his wife, Danny Turner; her sister, Mary Evans Golden; her brothers, Jonas Evans, Gene Evans, Joe Evans.
Surviving relatives include her daughters, Terry Whaley (Kenneth) and Mona Crapps (Bill); her son, Ronnie Joe Turner (Emily); her sister, Martha Evans Jones; her sister-in-law, Mary Evans; her grandchildren, Christopher Bell (Wanda), Sissy Williamson (Donnie), Kerri DeShazo (Mark), Katie Thompson (Jason), Kendra Clayton (Ron), Melissa Stinson (Philip), Leslie Hudspeth, Kristen Whitman (Shane), Stephen Turner; her several great & great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Chris Bell, Gavin Thompson, Jason Thompson, Nathaniel Brannon, Donnie Williamson, and B.J. Lamberson.
